Answer #1

1)Some diluted acid is transferred to a clean, dry beaker.

2) The concentration of the original stock acid is calculated.

3) 20mL portions of stock acid is quantitatively transferred into a 100mL volumetric flask.

4) The 100mL volumetric flask containing 20mL of stock acid is filled to the mark stepwise with swirling.

5) The 100mL volumetric flask is stoppered and inverted with swirling multiple times.

6) 20mL portions of diluted acid are quantitatively transferred into Erlenmeyer flasks.

7) The diluted samples are tittrated to a phenolphthalein endpoint using NaOH solution.

8) The concentration of the diluted acid is calculated.
