Answer #1

There are 4 valves in our heart each of them allows one-way direction for blood flow. Heart valve problems are increasing all over the world especially in the ageing population. Timely identification of valves problems will benefit a patient from the necessity of surgery. Valvular heart diseases are more prevalent in the population above 75 years or older with almost 12% and 2.5% in general public below this age.

Physicians need to make optimal decisions or corrective management approach in the case of patients with cardio-valve diseases. They need to check and ensure all the necessary health condition of the client before instructing for surgery. Despite the medical advancements, the surgery of heart valves is extremely complicating and expensive. Percutaneous valve surgery is a kind of non-surgical method opted for some patients, but still remains an area of intense research.
