Answer #1

2Al(s) + Fe2O3(s) -----------> 2Fe(s) + Al2O3(s)      \Delta H   = -851.5KJ

2 moles of Al react with Fe2O3 to gives -851.5KJ

4.88 moles of Al react with Fe2O3 to gives = - 851.5*4.88/2    = -2077.66KJ

b.

1 mole of Fe2O3 react with Al to gives -851.5KJ

4.88 moles of Fe2O3 react with Al to gives = -851.5*4.88/1   = -4155.32KJ

c.

851.5Kj energy released from 1 mole of Fe2O3

851.5Kj energy released from 159.69g of Fe2O3

387KJ energy released from = 159.69*387/851.5 = 72.57g of Fe2O3 >>>>answer
