q1 = 9.5 nC = 9.5 * 10^-9 C

the electric feild due to q1 , E1 = - K * q1 /r1^2 i

E1 = - 9 * 10^9 * 9.5 * 10^9 /0.3^2 i N/C

E1 = - 950 i N/C

r2 = 0.1 m

q2 = - 3 nC = - 3 * 10^-9 C

the electric feild due to q2 , E2 = - K * q2 /r2^2 j

E2 = - 9 * 10^9 * 3 * 10^9 /0.1^2 j N/C

E2 = - 2700 j N/C

the vector electric feild on 5 nC , E = E1 + E2

E = - 950 i N/C - 2700 j N/C

b)

q3 = 5 nC = 5 * 10^-9 C

the vector force , F = q3 * E

F = 5 * 10^-9 C * ( - 950 i N/C - 2700 j N/C)

F = (- 4.75 i - 13.5 j) uN
