Answer #1

Answer: Raising the Medicare eligibility age will leave large number of retirees without healthcare coverage. If the Medicare eligibility age will be increased then most of the senior citizens would have to face serious threat to their health. This is because the expenditure on their health will be more and expensive. These retirees will be in below the poverty category. Hence it would be more difficult for the senior citizens. This will also increase out of pocket expenses and hence will be trouble for people.
