Answer: The health maintenance organization is a provider of healthcare professionals and facilities. It develops the network of the physicians who can also provide better healthcare facilities. This organization is mostly a medium through which companies provide healthcare facilities and benefits to their employees. It differs from other insurance plans in many ways as this organization has a organized physician who provides better facilities to the patients. It is mainly given by the companies to their employees so it is pocket-friendly and many healthcare issues may resolve. Other insurance covers some of the specific treatment only but this HMO does not need any health claims to be submitted.
