Answer #1

Here,

m = 30 gm = 0.030 Kg

let the speed at the bottom is v

Using conservation of energy

0.50 * m * v^2 = m * 9.8 * L * (1 - cos(55))

v^2 = 8.36*L

v^2/L = 8.36

at the bottom of the pendulum

T - m * g = m * v^2/L

T = 0.030 * (9.8 + 8.36)

T = 0.545 N

the tension in the rope is 0.545 N
