· Code 59400 including antepartum, vaginal delivery, and postpartum care. Coding / Reimbursement-The primary procedure will be allowed at 100% of the contracted rate, subject to the member’s contract benefits

· Code 59409 is for first new born. Coding/ reimbursement - The vaginal delivery will be considered a secondary procedure and will be allowed at 50% of the contracted rate for each newborn, subject to the member’s contract benefits.
