Real interest rate = ((1+ Nominal interest rate) / (1+Inflation rate))-1

= ((1+10%)/(1+5%))-1

=1.0476 - 1

= 0.0476 or 4.76%

Degree of operating leverage = ((fixed cost/Profit)+1)
