if the same solution is transfered and diluted into each flask what is the dilution factor between each of the flask ? please explain with math and explanation

Between 1 and 2:

Dilution factor = Vf / Vi

Hence, Dilution factor = 50.0mL/25.0mL = 2

Hence Dilution factor between 1 and 2 flasks is  2

I.e , 1:2 Dilution between flasks 1 and 2

Between 2 and 3:

Dilution factor = 10mL/1mL = 10

Hence, Dilution factor between 2 and 3 = 10

I.e, 1:10 Dilution between flasks 2 and 3.
