Solution:- Given that samples : 48,59,31,34,35,37,41,46,42,45,47,49,51,52,52,60,61,67,77,75,55,83,53,56,71

a) mean = sum of terms /number of terms = 1327/25 = 53.08

b) median = 52.

Explanation

The median is the middle number in a sorted list of numbers. So, to find the median, we need to place the numbers in value order and find the middle number.

Ordering the data from least to greatest, we get:

31 34 35 37 41 42 45 46 47 48 49 51 52 52 53 55 56 59 60 61 67 71 75 77 83
