Number of tablets to give=Medication strength ordered by the doctor/Dose strength of one tablet.

Medication strength ordered by the doctor=2000mcg

Convert mcg to mg by dividing the mass value by 1000

2000÷1000=2mg.

Dose strength of one tablet=0.5mg

=2mg/0.5mg

=4 tablets
