When children experience inappropriate sexual contact, they are at risk for acquiring sexualy transmitted diseases , such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes, and HIV.

Parents has a great role in preventing the abuse, they should teach about the good touch and bad touch in appropriate to the age, also should take precautions to prevent sexual abuse towards the children. Most of the time a family member or relative are being the perpetuator it will difficult to the family to understand the situation.
