But U.S standard is 35 ppm

Ppm means parts per million

So 35 ppm means 35 units of CO in 1 million units of gas i.e

35/1000000 = 3.5 x 10^-5

but given 2.91% = 2.91/100 = 0.0291

So

To determine how much times it's greater

divide given 0.0291 by 3.5 * 10^-5

0.0291/ 3.5 x 10^-5 = 831.43

Hence it is greater than approx 831 times than the standard for the CO concentration.
