Answer #1

Ans:-

Given data: container1 contain N molecules, has pressureP0, volume V0, tempture T0

Container 2 has 2N molecules, P= 3P0, T = T0, V= ?

In this question we have to apply conservation of temp

For container 1st apply gas law

P0V0 =NRT0 ………………….1

P0V0 /NR = T0…………………2

For container 2nd

PV = NRT………………..3

Put all the value of container 2nd

3P0 V = 2N RT0………………..4

Put eqn 2 value of T0 in 4 we get

3P0V = 2NR P0V0 / NR

3P0 V = 2P0V0

V = 2/3V0
