The difference between consequentialist and non-consequentialist is :-
Con= approach the rights/wrongness determined by their consequences
Non-con= approach to right/wrongness determined by something other than their consequences
One theory which is associated with consequentialism is utilitarianism theory . It is a utilitarian theory of ethics which states that a person's act is morally right if and only if it produces at least as much happiness as any other act that the person could perform at that time. The value of the consequences of the particular act that counts when determining whether the act is right.
Non consequentialism theory - Belief that consequences do not & should not enter into our judging of whether actions or people are moral or immoral.

there aren't rules or theories, but rather particular actions, situations, & people about which we cannot generalize
