Determine how many electrons there are in total in your body and what is the total electrical charge of these electrons. Keep in mind that most of the atoms in your body have the same number of electrons, protons and neutrons. Consider the average composition of the human body of 75 kilograms mass as: 65% Oxygen, 19% Carbon, 10% Hydrogen, 3% Nitrogen, 2% Calcium and 1% Phosphorus. The atomic number of Oxygen is 8 and its atomic mass is 16 g / Mol, of Carbon 6 and 12 g / Mol, of Hydrogen 1 and 1 g / Mol, of Nitrogen 7 and 14 g / Mol, of Calcium 20 and 40 g / Mol, from Phosphorus 15 and 31 g / Mol. Tip: Calculate the mass in grams of each element that your body contains. Then calculate the number of moles contained in each element and finally calculate the number of atoms and electrons of each element that your body has.
