Answer #1

.Nursing is a profession which not only treats a patient upon their medical conditions but a step ahead by healing them psychologically. Here the student has perceived the patient and her father with compassion and commitment. Here both have emotional feeling where father can express the emotional feeling physically but patient in an internal emotional way where she can't verbalize. The student nurse realised the need of patient as well as the father. The patient could hear till their last breath and this is what happened in the case by making him to be at the side of patient rear ,talk, soothe and comfort her.

.The father expressed his caring in an emotional way by crying out and letting out his feelings .He laid besides his daughter and expressed his care by talking.

.The mutuality of living and growing in caring is nurturing one Self in deep of their thoughts, believes ,values ,desires. The major difference the caring nursing made here is the emotional touch given to a father and a daughter

.The nurse mentor has given a situation which doesn't needs an medical support but an emotional support. She could notice compassion and commitment in the nursing student.
