Prostate is a gland which is present in the males. The urethra is embedded in the center of the prostate gland and is present from the bladder to the male organ which allows the urine to pass away from the body. The prostate is the gland which secretes a fluid that provides nourishment and protection to the sperm.

During the time of ejaculation, the prostate gland contracts in order to eject it's fluid to the urethra.
