a.Value concepts refers to the belief of one in accordance with their culture,family,environment. The area of value concept of this patient is his belief of ability to control and manage his diabetes with the help of herbal medicines and diet control.

2.The nurse has to explain about diabetes and how it can be actually managed.The nurse should stress the need of diet ,exercise and medications  (oral or insulin) at this time .Herbal medication at this stage takes a longer time to bring control by correcting the body systematically
