Cultural believes and practices plays a direct role in the care and treatment option of a patient.In case if the healthcare professional and the client are from same culture making the patient understand the procedures, treatment will be easier

A patient who believes that they can exert control on their destiny, luck or chance can not make them to be in compliance with the health-care regimen

A patient can get support and guidance from a cultural group in taking healthcare decision at some point the culture can refuse certain line of treatment
