Answer: Medicalization is a set of process that the healthcare professionals involves to provide better care to the patients by diagnosing diseases, mental disorder as well as social factors that could influence health of patients. The healthcare professionals intervene the diseases, causes as well as employing preventive methods.

The chronic disease and illness such as diseases that have life long effect. Diabetes, hypertension as well as cardiovascular diseases are comes under the category of chronic disease. These diseases causes life long illness and require proper health management. The chronic disease could be result of poor lifestyle such as unhealthy eating habits, obesity, smoking as well as alcohol consumption. The obesity increase risk of chronic diseases.
