Answer #1

Solution:

A) The balanced equation will be written as,

3Ca(NO3)2(aq) + Al2(SO4)3(aq)\rightarrow3CaSO4 (s)+ 2Al (NO3)3(aq)

B) Mass of CaSO4 = 882.187 g

Calculation:

Since, 1 mol of Aluminium sulfate produces 3 moles of CaSO4

Hence, 2.16 mol will produces = 2.16 mol x 3 = 6.48 mol

Mass of CaSO4 = number of moles x molar mass

= 6.48 mol x 136.14 g mol-1 = 882.187 g
