Answer #1

A) the reaction is 2A + B ======= 2C + 2D

energy required for the reaction is 283 kJ

so this much energy is required for reaction of 2 moles of A

if 2.60 mols of A is used then heat absorbed = 2.6/2*283 kJ = 368 kJ

B) molar mass of A = 46.59 g/mol

given 165 g of A = 165/46.59 = 3.54 moles of A

for 2 mols of A heat absorbed 283 kJ

so for 3.54 mols heat absorbed = 500.91 kJ

so heat absorbed is 501 kJ
