The Impact of additional warehouse locations on internal controls of a company:

Internal controls are policies are procedures which are followed by an organization for operational efficiency and to minimize the frauds. In the given case, if the company is adding an additional warehouse location to decrease the cost and time-frame of deliveries, it will have to increase its monitoring of the inventory controls. The company would also need to implement new policies and procedures for the inventory controls for the items moving from and to the new warehouse.
Hence, adding a new warehouse location would result in additional inventory control procedures and wider internal control system for the company.
