Discuss your feelings about complimentary therapies like using garlic for HTN, Co- Enzyme Q10 for the heart, Omega 3-6-9 fish oil for cholesterol, massage therapy, chiropractic services, music therapy, etc. Does modern and Western medicine have all the answers? More and more patients are turning to complimentary therapies to control their diseases/conditions. What are your thoughts on this topic?

-Modern and western medicine have fast or prompt treatment for most of the common diseases and disorders.

-But the drawback is its long term side effects and high cost

- Complimentary medicines lean toward more natural ways to treat diseases and cannot guarantee prompt relief

- For instance, if your BP is very high and if you take garlic, there is no guarantee of how much low will the level go and if it doesnt go down, high BP can lead to stroke and certain other problems

- But massage therapy can help in alleviating pain to some extent if it is mild to moderate. In case of very severe pain. Massage therapy can only help little

- So, despite of side effects related to medicine, I support western medicine due to its ability to treat conditions instantly in many cases
