Answer #1

Let's say the distance from gate to baggage claim be x.

So, Speed of sidewalk = Distance Time x = 79

My Speed = Distance Time 43

Now, when I'm walking on moving sidewalk, total speed = 79 43

So, Time taken for same distance =Distance Time 79

=rac{x}{xleft ( rac{1}{79}+rac{1}{43} ight )}

= 79 × 43 = 28s 79 + 43
