Answer #1

Lets convert all masses to grams

A)

1.34*10^-2 ug

= 1.34*10^-2*10^-6 g

= 1.34*10^-8 g

B)

1.34*10^-15 Mg

= 1.34*10^-15*10^6 g

= 1.34*10^-9 g

C)

1.34*10^4 pg

= 1.34*10^4*10^-12 g

= 1.34*10^-8 g

D)

1.34*10^-11 Kg

= 1.34*10^-11 * 10^3 g

= 1.34*10^-8 g

E)

1.35*10^-6 cg

= 1.35*10^-6 * 10^-2 g

= 1.34*10^-8 g

B is different

Problem Four You should attempt this problem after Lecture 6 Cycle 3 The moons gravitational influence on the earth cause the tides, which dissipates the kinetic energy of the earth-moon system. As a consequence the earth's rotation is slowing and the moon moves away from the earth at a rate of 3.84 cm each year (same speed your fingernails grow at). At some point in the earths future it is possible that the moons orbit will correspond to the time...
