vA = speed of puck A towards puck B = 1.50 m/s

vB = speed of puck B towards puck A = 2.70 m/s

t = time taken to meet

time taken to meet is given as

t = d/(vA + vB)

inserting the values

t = 18/(1.50 + 2.70)

t = 4.3 sec

distance traveled by puck A is given as

XA = vA t

XA = 1.50 x 4.3

XA = 6.5 m
