A patient after surgery can recover comfortably only when they are physically and mentally strong.

Some of the strength and weaknesses can be

Strength :

  • Patient having a previous surgical experience and his knowledgeable about the recovery time period
  • Physical fit before a surgery and underwent surgery after getting prepared for it.
  • Being oriented with the health care professionals and seeking their help with confidence and hope
  • If tolerance to pain level is more
  • Participating in the routine of daily care

Weaknesses

  • Fear or anxiety
  • Not having a proper family support and good relationship with the society
  • Age can be a hindrance in faster recovery
  • In case of presence of any major illness
