P = $15

MC = $15

ATC = $14.50

Since the firm is already producing at the point P = MC and making positive profit: (P-ATC)Q = (15-14.5)5000 = $2500, it means the firm is maximizing profits (a profit maximizing perfectly competitive firm produces at the point P = MC)

Thus, it is advisable for the firm to continue producing at the same level as it is already maximizing profits.
