In first year a portion of expenses can be deducted which is maximum upto $5000 and it phases out if the expenses reaches $50000
and rest over a period of 180 months
So the total expenses is 5700
2000+2200+1500
Maximum $5000 can be deducted
Deducted in year 1 is $5000
