Many factors in the nursing practice influences patient centered care, quality and safety.

Those factors include:-

1. No of nursing staff recruited for patient care:- if the staff is sufficient, then nursing care services may be in good quality and safe, and patient centered.

2. Communication among the staff during shift duties:- Shift nurses has to pass the information among them, when handing over cases.

3. Equipment available:- if the full pledged equipment is available, nursing staff can provide quality and safe care.

4. Knowledge of nursing staff:- it is the main factor that influence quality, safe and patient centered care.

If the all nursing staff is competent enough, the quality, safety of patient centered care improves.

5. Time available for nurse at each patient may also influence quality and safety of care.
