5) Calculation of drops per min (gtt/min).

          Drops per min (gtt/min) = Volume(ml) / Time(min) * Drop factor(gtt/ml)

Here

      Volume(ml) = 100 ml.

      Time(min) = 60 min (1hr)

      Drop factor = 12 gtt/min.

As per above formula

     Drops per min(gtt/min) = 100 / 60 * 12

                                            = 1.67 * 12

                                            = 20.04

                                            = 20 gtt/min.
