Answer #1

ANSWER.

* Calculation of amount(ml) of drug received by the patient per dose.

Formula = Desired dose/Dose in hand * Quantity.

     Here

           Desired dose (D) = 25 mg (3 divided doses).

           Dose in hand (H) = 10 mg.

                 Quantity (Q) = 5 ml.

   As per above formula

       Amount(ml) of drug required daily = D/H * Q

                                                             = 25/10 * 5

                                                             = 12.5 ml (3 divided doses).

Amount(ml) of drug received by the patient per dose = 12.5 / 3

                                                                                = 4.17 ml.
