Evidence-based public health practice of making decisions based on best available peer-reviewed evidence. The strengths of evidence in public health research is that is backed by scientific evidence and hence is very sound and leads to the correct diagnosis. However the weakness it that it exposes the patient to too much of screening that may be harmful.
