  1. What are the key strengths and limitations for business ethics and public relations practice of the utilitarian, deontological and human rights ethical doctrines?

Due to rapid growth of the business especially with reference to computer technology is one that is often difficult to assign a specific moral code. Ethical theories such as utilitarian, deontological, and human rights ethical doctrines are the theories which form a foundation of principles across the business fields.

To start with, ethics are the standards for measuring conduct. They verify appropriate and inappropriate courses of action and designate the appropriate courses should be followed. Thus it helps the people to do only the right thing. These theories give a clear framework on what is right and wrong, knowing and classifying the moral argument. Thus it seems that ethical theories are basis for human actions.

The core objective of ethical theory is to find the basis for saying that employees have certain obligations to behave in a certain manner and what is wrong to behave in certain situations. It also helps to avoid damages to the business relations and protect the physical and social environment.

The theories of ethics widely serve the organizations and companies at the same time it has its own limitation such as it limits to decide on moral choices and moral conflicts. There is an argument that these theories are overly academic and involves in prescriptive approaches.

Postmodernism is a term which is often explained ad post modernist movement in the arts. It sets a cultural tendencies and related cultural movements. It is in simple term, it is an period which follows modernism. This theory can help in the public relations with respect to ethical disputes. However, postmodern rhetorical theory is considered to be the heart of public relations activities. It is also used as an essence for an organizations relationship to its environment. Many researchers have proved that rhetoric affords public relations with an ethical practice and helps in effective communication to create a good organization.
