Answer is a) inferential statistics , because in inferential statistics using data we calculate some value,on the basis of which we conclude either we will accept the null hypothesis or reject it.So here using data I have measured to form a conclusion..

But in other two like Descriptive statistics and sampling we just find some value for further use not for any conclusion. We can use this values in inferential statistics to obtain any conclusion.
