The problem of mental health is being isolated and there is a need to integrate into; primary, secondary, and tertiary medical care because people generally think that mental disorders cannot be treated, but effective treatments do exist and they can be successfully delivered in primary care, (WHO). Mental disorders affect hundreds of millions of people and, if left untreated, they create a huge toll of suffering, disability, and economic loss. Despite the potential of successfully treating mental disorders, only a small fraction of those in need receive even the most basic treatment. Integration is most successful when mental health is incorporated into the framework of; health policy, legislature and supported by leadership, adequate resources, and the governance that is ongoing.
