   a. SA node.

         * SA node or sinoatrial node contain special type of self excitation cells

            known as 'p' cells which produce electric impulses at the begining of

            cardiac cycle help to initiate contraction of heart

         * Heart rate or rate of impulse conduction in SA node is 70 - 80 / min.

b. AV node.

         * AV node produce electrical impulses but the number of 'p' cells in the

        AV node is less compared to SA node.

         * Av node can act as a conducting pathway between atria and ventricles

           during cardiac cycle.

         * Heart rate or rate of impulse conduction in AV node is 40 - 60 / min.

c. Ventricle.

          * Left ventricle of heart help to transfer oxygenated blood to all part of the

             body through aorta.

          * Right ventricle of the heart help to transfer deoxygenated blood to the pulmonary

            circulation through pulmonary artery for gas exchange.

          * Heart rate of both left and right ventricle is 60 - 100 / min.
