Heat is given as :

Heat = mass x specific heat x change in temperature

here mass is 10 g

specific heat = 0.031 cal/goC

change in temperature = 100oC - 0oC = 100oC

putting values :

= 10 g x 0.031 cal/goC x 100oC

= 31 cal
