Answer: Quantitative research is consists of Statics mathematics or calculation techniques. It is the systematic observational process which also includes computational techniques. The main purpose of quantitative research is mainly to develop mathematical and statistical models, theories, and hypotheses regarding the research. Quantitative Research is generally used to express the problem by generating numerical data.

Qualitative research is a non-numeric research which is based on understanding of causes, reasons, opinions, and motivations to find the solution of the problem. This consist of structured and semi structured analysis.

These two research are different in various ways, it depends upon the researcher that about what purpose the research is based on. The research methods can be defined and choosen according to the type of research we want. If research should be in cumulative data's then quantitative method is best for the research.
