Quantitative research

1. It mainly quantifies the data using numbers.
2. It uses to study cause and effects, to check a hypothesis.
3. Datatype - numbers and decimals
4. Collection method - Close-ended questions, tests, questionaries, scales (Structured)
5. Data analysis - Precise measurement using statistical tolls and validated instruments
6. Sample size - small to very big(Some times may be a country) and random

Qualitative research

1. It qualifies the data by opinion and underlying reasons.
2. It is best to study human behavior, to create a hypothesis,.to understand social interaction, to interpret social interaction
3. Data type - Words, images
4. Collection methods - Open-ended question, interviews, observation (Unstructured)
5. Data analysis - According to theme and patterns
6. Sample size - Limited, small and purposeful

2. Both types of research has there own perspective and both are better in different fields. Quantitative research is better in data analysis and to see cause and effect but qualitative research better to study human behavior and human psychology.
