Since there are 14 amino acids in the peptide we have  - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The purpose of Edman's reagent is to determine the N-terminal amino acid. So His will be the first amino acid. So the sequence will start as His - - - - - - - - - - - - -

His comes with Phe and Gly in A.

Gly comes only with His and is in E, but Phe comes with other amino acids. Therefore after His is Gly and the other one in the sequence is Phe.

His Gly Phe  - - - - - - - - - - -

cyanogen bromide cleaves peptide at the C terminal of methionine but methionine is absent in this peptide.

Chymotrypsin cleaves the peptide which is connected with alpha-COOH of aromatic amino acid like Phe, Trp or Tyr or amino acids which possess large nonpolar sidechains (Met, Leu) .

Trypsin cleaves the peptide along alpha-COOH of basic amino acids (arginine or lysine). therefore at the C-terminus end contains these amino acids.

In B and E, the sequence is His, Gly, Phe, Ser, Tyr, Lys - - - - - - - Arg

According to D and H (Ala with Trp and Val) , His, Gly, Phe, Ser, Tyr, Lys, Ala, Val, Trp - - - Leu, Arg

According to C and F, Leu with Arg.

Since there are two Ser and two Arg hence the final sequence will be

"His, Gly, Phe, Ser, Tyr, Arg, Leu, Lys, Ser, Ala, Val, Trp, Phe, Arg"
