Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Health Care field:
Artificial intelligence greatly improved the medical care provided by the healthcare facilities. For example, the computerized bookkeeping system is mostly used in the medical facilities for regular backup of data.
Computerized bookkeeping saves more time, store more data and also offer quick recollection. Another key area benefited with artificial intelligence is the area of disease diagnosis. Several machines (including robotics) are used to study the abnormalities in the body.
Analysis of biological samples can be done by using a variety of machines, for example, analyzing the blood sample using hemocytometer. Managing the patient appointments, accessing the updated research information published online, etc. are the other applications that benefited the healthcare industry.
Cons of artificial intelligence:
The information or services provided by the artificial intelligence cannot be completely controlled manually. Regular maintenance of the systems, and maintaining strict privacy for data access are needed. Initial installation of artificial intelligence requires high investment. Artificial intelligence can also create unemployment for the elderly or those that who cannot apply the artificial intelligence.
