technology can keep a dead person alive. Is that quality of life worth maintaining? Who should should decide exactly what about end of life issues? what are costs involved!

Yes ,technology can keep dead person alive. But quality of live becomes a question there. That dead person with all supportive equipments is taken care by another person all the time.. and monitored throughout to stop any mishaps. There is no life in that dead person , he is just living with help of artificial support. He neither can enjoy his life nor perform any activities of his own.. In short he is just like puppet.. As the technology is advanced and high so is the expense... it is an high budget for maintaining a dead person alive. And there is 0% guarantee that he will revive .... hence it is just the maintainence that is happening but nothing else... this situation is not just hard for the patient but also for the family who bares all the expenses... they fall into depth and also there life and future gets affected through this decision ..... hence the quality of life is not worth maintaining in this way.... The patient himself can declare his will about end life care when he is alive , whether he want to undergo maintainence or just palliative care is sufficient... the successor of the patient for example son or daughter can take a call regarding the end life care If the patient is not conscious..... and regarding the costs involved in life maintainence of a dead person involves huge amount as the ventilator cost for one day itself is lakh rupee now a days.... but hospice care does not cost much... hospice care gives patient a life satisfaction at the end... hence wise decision must be made...
