15) Peak drawn at 0100 . Trough drawn at 11.55

Peak level is the highest concentration of a drug in patients bloodstream. It depend on route of administration, if its moral then one hour after drug is taken, if IV then 15 to 30 min after injection.

The trough level is lowest concentration in patients blood stream, so it is drawn just prior to administration of drug.

16) Antibiotics makes birth control pills less effective. Birth control pills are hormonal contraceptives. If antibiotics is taken with birth control pills it decreases hormone level in birth control pills thus affecting its effectiveness. Also both should not be taken together as it causes adverse side effects like vomiting, nausea, headache, change inability appetite, etc.
