43.common anticholinergic side effects:

a)oral mucous membranes - by using anticholinergic drugs for long time,it produces dry mouth,dryness of throat.i t is mainly due to decrease in the secretion of exocrine glands.

b)urination - difficulty in micturition and also retention of urine,so anticholinergic drugs are contraindicated to those patient.

C)Bowel function - it produces constipation,normaly anticholinergic drugs action are decrease the tone,motility of gut and increase the sphincter tone,so finally constipation occurs.

d)Heart rate - increase in heart rate,palpitation,when low doses it produces bradycardia,after that produce tachycardia.

e)mental status - always in the excitement,hallucinations and delirium.
