The company must choose option b) advertising by producer and personal selling by retailer.

Reason: The company has developed a new range of premium jerseys and hence is a new product for the market. Along advertising on a large scale will not suffice deeper penetration in to the market. Personal selling by retailer will aid in touch and feel of the product for the customer and will enable them to make a better choice.
