At the time of Mrs. Smith’s appointment, it became quickly evident that Dr. Mean had not ever read the patient’s lengthy forms that had to be completed by the patient prior to her scheduled appointment. #. The hospital ethics committee should take actions towards the unethical practices of Dr. Mean . There is evidence of the unethical practice that he had done towards Mrs. Smith . He haven't read her health records neither he send an appointment confirmation call . The hospital administration should take legal actions against him for his act which has worsened the disease of Mrs. Smith. Legal actions like cancellation of licence , penalty and even imprisonment .
